Mo Chinna Ma9ekhooha RIM with their BB Service?

By | October 11, 2011

Tra ma9arat! Shelsalfa?

For en entire couple of days I’ve been disconnected from the world! I’ve spent most of those 48 hours away from home and yet I’ve been the loneliest I’ve ever been since before the Smart Phone age! I miss my Tweeps, the ability to browse for everything and anything, my Whatsupp, my BBM, and access to my email! I miss being able to take a shot of something freaky and send it to share a laugh or a picture of some product that I need someone’s opinion on! I don’t miss my work emails though :p

I am lonely, and I need my friends and family’s support at these days especially. I am a busy person, I have put my faith in RIM to provide me a consistent Blackberry service. RIM let me down once yesterday which is forgivable. Bad things happens and it got corrected. RIM let me even further down today, the final knockout, when for the 2nd day in a row they stopped my service. Whatever mistake they have done yesterday could have been avoided today. There is no excuse this time. Strike two is strike three.

Now I am looking for a BB replacement. Sorry RIM, I am too lonely to wait for you to get your act together. Bye!

Honestly its a bit refreshing not be hounded by the phone all the time and people are less inclined to send text messages! lol

This downtime is REALLY hurting RIM! They are pretty much shooting themselves in the foot!

Yeah I noticed that people are kinda relieved!
I agree! What a catastrophy it must be for them. For it to happen twice and the 2nd time its continuing for another day, its like suicide! What the hell is that?

if you recently bought the new BB, then I say stick with it. 7aram tghayreena dama jideed.

bas itha your BB is pretty old, then dump it and get a samsung galaxy or an iphone- even though I would personally wait for the Iphone 5 to come out.

btw, I have been away from blogging sites for a while now.. but now that I am back again its good to see you still put out some quality posts (as expected 6ab3an).

Keep it up!

iPhone FTW! At least if Whatsapp is down we have a gazillion other instant messaging applications that let us communicate with Blackberry, Android, and iPhone users! Such as kik messenger, and so much more!

Seriously drop that piece of trash and grab a real phone! An iPhone! I love its touch screen and the cute sounds of its keyboard and it’s simply AWESOME! :D Hell you should have an iPhone simply for the “Instagram” app! I totally can see you flooding my timeline with awesome pictures shot in the amazing effects that are installed!

This has nothing to do with Blackberry Tag. blackberry Tag uses NFC which is inbuilt in the phones and has nothing to do with the servers.

RIM also updated to BIS 4.1 a short while ago. This is their official statement:

” The messaging and browsing delays being experienced by BlackBerry users in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Brazil, Chile and Argentina were caused by a core switch failure within RIM’s infrastructure. Although the system is designed to failover to a back-up switch, the failover did not function as previously tested. As a result, a large backlog of data was generated, and we are now working to clear that backlog and restore normal service as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we will continue to keep you informed. ”

Quickly to them is 3+ days apparently.

iMessage is similar to BBM. BBM is the best IM period. No kik or whatsapp or whatever will make up for it, but iMessage is useable some what.

Im jumping ship. RIM will either hit or miss with BBX. Its a shame because the QNX platform has a lot of potential but its being squandered by their foolish ways.

Thank you for the clarifiation. I want to jump ship but my heart won’t let me, I simply adore my new BB 9900…
But a 3+ days of no BB service is just too much. For a company that big and supposedly professional, they’ve just commited the worst mistakes of their lives.
I will give them until tonight. After that its good bye Blackberry hello android :(

never really liked android.

the blackberry playbook and the new BBX phones coming next year should run android apps though.

maybe then theyll stand a chance.
