KDD’s New 3ejbo Ad… malaqa!

First it was the Failaka ice cream massacre (post). People in Kuwait roared with disapproval at the new chosen name “Blitz”. However Blitz is here to stay and Failaka & Columbia have long gone now.

Today I see a KDD ad for a new Chocolate Milk Jumbo. OK, jumbo fair enough. But what the hell is 3ejboo? 3ejbo? Really? What on earth, and in what language, is 3ejboo? Madry 3ajabo?

Dear KDD, as a long life faithful consumer I strongly suggest you change your marketing company who come up with words such as Blitz and Jumbo. I would suggest you go with the marketing company who came up with Quality Net’s ramadn ads instead. Maqo maqo is cute and catchy. 3ejbo o Blitz malaqa! Thank god they didn’t give the chocolate milk a name like bombo or mumbo jumbo or something! Allah yaster!

i was babbling all day long about this AD!
it’s un-readable! & absolutely UN-tolerated!
i mean when the chocolate milk came back they promoted it with very simple AD which was amazing!

Thank you! As I was preparing this post I remember “reja3 el’3ali” only and I loved it!
Whatever happened to that style of ads? How on earth is this approved?

I think its a private one but I am not sure who. You can always check the Chamber of Commerce’s website they list all the business owners by details online.
