10 Things I want to Do before the End of 2012

  1. Re-publish Dathra book 1: edited, proofread, and with the new cover.
  2. Find out more outlets to sell both Dathra books together once the 1st is republished.
  3. Join a photography class or two. Find out if I have any photography potential.
  4. Finish working on the last room of the apartment filled with junk and unopened boxes.
  5. Use the thing I got 9 months ago to teach me how to play the piano.
  6. Lose 5 kilos. Just 5. Not so much to ask, no?
  7. Paint the things I want to paint and see if they turn out OK or not. Fingers crossed.
  8. Go back to the dentist. Go back to the dentist. Go back to the dentists. Work on my teeth is not done yet. Hate dentists. Go back to the dentists. Must be brave.
  9. Be more active. Either take a daily walk or join some gym. Maybe a dance class or I’d buy a bicycle like everyone seems to be doing around me. Tempting.
  10. Sleep. I’ve lost the ability to sleep like a normal person in reasonable hours. I think the activity/gym might help me out there.

Well, these thought’s have been going round and round on my mind recently and they are things I really want to do and ASAP. I will check this post again in 1 January 2013 insha2 Allah o see if I did indeed accomplish anything on it. What about you? Do you have anything you want to accomplish before the end of the year? Please do share if you do, maybe I’d get some inspiration :)

  3. I have never wrot to do list why ??
    Maybe I just do what comes in my mind :)

    I liked No 5 I wish I would have the time to learn to play some instruments
    such as piano,saxophone,violin love to listen to there kind of soft music :)

    No 6 is so easy you can do that by drinking a lot of water and eat half amount
    of what you use to eat only hold out desserts for a while and your done :)

    No 8 So nice I always think of doing it but I don’t don’t know why my whole
    life I went only one time to the dentist , Gladly I got a good smile hehehe 😉

    No 9 If you are thingking of buying I recomment you to get one of those
    elliptical machine it moves all your upper and lower body unlike the bicycle !

    No 10 Yes this thing is very common but it can be solved by getting tired lool
    Good luck with your list I hope you could at least half of it :)

      No 6 is proving harder to be every year you spend being over 30 :(
      I have no space in my current apartment for a machine :( Sadly I think my current situation is beyond help and I do need to get out there and go to a gym. Now its a matter of finding a good one of course…

    Things I want to do before 2013:
    – Change and revamp our blog.
    – Take arabic calligraphy classes (I need to find where).
    – Sketch/paint more.
    – Do at least 5 hard DIY’s.

      I always wanted to write well. My father is the best calligrapher but he never taught us for some reason :( I think that would be lovely. I always have this itch to draw or create something but the end result always turns out horrible :(

      As for the book, you can always send something over to her, help get me more popular 😉

    Go to doctor AlNoori or Waleed AlFulaij in Bayan clinic.. they are both so amazing and you will accept (i still prefer not going) going to the dentist

      Actually my dentists are Bayan clinic and one of them was bitten magrood :p Still, dentists scare the hell out of me!

    Wish you all the very best. I do hope you will sell your book in other stores since I hardly go to 52 and I still didn’t get your second book. Regarding no 6, I personally managed to shed 10 KG with diet care and walking for one hour daily. Acupuncture also helped curb my appetite and speed up metabolism and helped me sleep better.

    Its great to see someone setting realistic goals for the year (or what’s left of it). Everything on your list is doable if you put your mind into it. Losing the 5kg should be a piece of cake (no pun inteneded :p). Lose them now before gaining more and ending up with lots more to lose.

      That piece of cake is, believe me, the hardest :) I do hope that by 2013 I have achieved something!

    I am with u in #8 & #9
    #9..the weather will turn cool by the next month..so have a walk on the sea 5 days/week ..I’ve tried this activity last year :)

    I want to join Equestrian club ..

    Hope u acheive all ur goals ..

    Even I want to ride a bicycle! But where? I mean I very rarely encounter girls with hijab riding the bicycle.

      Maybe the Acquarium? Or to and from the coop I suppose? Perhaps in the local area’s walkway…
