Book Review: The Woman He Loved Before By Dorothy Koomsons

By | February 28, 2011

I squealed… i literally squealed yesterday when i saw the new book of Dorothy Koomson lying there, within my fingers reach…I picked it up, i hugged it to my chest, and i couldn’t wait till i was in bed to start flipping through.

Dorothy Koomson has got a new novel “The Woman He Loved Before” and i know it would be an amazing one! If you are lucky you will be able to get yourself a copy as well <3

Now that i have finished reading it… i have to say i was glued to the pages… i wanted to flip to the end and read what happened. The only thing i didn’t like is the ending… i love Dorothy’s books for her unsual realistic endings but in this book though the ending was unsual as always it was… well… i still felt i needed closure! It felt as if there is more to the book but it was left out, chopped off… i don’t know i wanted more of an ending to be frank…

It is still a great book to read! The story goes like this… and if you want to read the first chapter click here

She’s out of his life, but is she out of his heart?

Libby has a nice life with a great job, a gorgeous husband and a big home by the sea. But she’s becoming more unsure of Jack’s feelings for her – and if he is over the mysterious death of Eve, his first wife.

When fate intervenes in their relationship, Libby decides to find out all she can about the man she hastily married and the seemingly perfect Eve.

Eventually Libby stumbles across some startling truths about Eve. As she begins to unearth more and more devastating secrets, Libby becomes frightened that she too will end up like the first woman Jack loved. . .”

Giggles: No no no don’t read her new book… you must first read my best friends girl… then good night beautiful… then the ice cream girls… when you are done THEN read the new book… what i really love about her books is that there is none of that sappy everything must be OK kind of ending where the girl and guy must end up in a car holding hands driving towards sunset… her books are really realistic and very well written…
