I’m still in Ramadan preparation mode, I can’t wait till the Holy month of Ramadan is here and I usually celebrate by buying new set of tableware, trays, and tea servers. I’m always  searching for funky tableware and tea/coffee sets that are not overpriced or too fancy for daily use. Lately I’ve had a sneak peek of very different, very funky, quirky, and durable colourful acrylic trays designed for the very first time by f2o designs and I Read more »

My Newest Buys at the f2o Shop

On f2o’s instagram account I saw that there are new summer sketches to be printed on T-Shirts and other things so I passed by, a tad too late for many of the designs were already sold out. I did manage to get me the gorgeous Afro Dude loves Sunkist T-Shirt above and Afro Dude loves KDD ice cream sandwich in black below, I think the ice cream sandwich is becoming the classic star of summer 2013 for some reason. The Dathra Book Launch Party – Part I

By | July 15, 2012

For some reason wordpress is eating up my Party post. I’ve written it three times already!!! It could be because its too long so I’ll have to sadly break it down and re-post it :(

Childhood in Q8 Means: Sunkist Juice & F6erat Jeben

By | June 13, 2010

Late night browsing at our old Jabriya Co-Op caused me to stumble on boxes of Sunkist Juice! Shakhbaree! I was back in the 1980’s in a whim… fighting for my breakfast in the non existant line at the school canteen… getting my self an icy cold Sunkist Orange and a Triangular Cheese Fa6eera… you were either a cheese f6era child or a za3tar fa6eera!

I would then go sit somewhere in the dusty playground with my little friends, take a bought of the delicious doughy fa6era with the tangy cheese… followed by a sip of the overly sweet Sunkist… constrasting amazingly with the saltiness of the cheese!

Now this little treat is still one of my favorites… the thing is… i can never find a good 80’s school style triangular F6erat jeben with crumbled salty white cheese inside… :(

Do you know a place where i can buy my self one? I truly wish to relive those days!

oh and… where you ever a fan of Sunkist?
