I cant write that much about my self without writing to you about tootee… our pet duck!
Actually he is demanding it…
He is the sweetest thing on earth. He is yellow and feathery and squishy and very sensitive. and he is daloo3 baba (my hubby) o mama (ana)… wain ma insafer wyana, o wayn ma inroo7 in the house he comes with us. Ye7ernee every day when i go to work by pretending to sleep!!!!!! How i envy him in the morning for he doesnt have to get out. He is always there for us. When i feel down, lonely, with no one to go to, i go and complain to him and give him the tightest hug, he always listens, never complaining, never interrupting… when im sick he sits by my side, unfraid to get the bug, unfazed by my mood swings and rants and bellowing sneezes “i was told i sneeze like a male sa3eedee… wonder why sa3eedee bel that?!??!?! o it can be heard a mile away”
However, he is such a scaredy duck… he is afraid from our black sheep, kharoof, who always tell him nasty stuff to scare him. and he believes him. and he cannot utter a word in his presence!!!

Well excuse ME… me and my husband love him and both are very attached to him.
You think we are crazy?
Well, you should have seen my moms face, we went to bahrain once together by car (me, hubby, tootee, mom and sisters) mom wanted to stay a bit in our room 3la ma they clean hers. fa while visiting, my hubby brings out tootee to greet my mom and i say to her “heloo edidaa” …. i cannot describe to you the horror on my moms face. and her indignant reply of “bedal la tel3oboon bel al3ab why dont u get a real child to play with?!?!?” el7een il nass ityeeb yahal 3shan tel3ab wyaha?!?!?!? Tootee was sooo hurt that day 
Then on the way home, tootee wanted to ride bel dabba… well he wanted to o we ever say no to him. O we had so many stuff (gowa6ee 7alwa o ib6ool may leqaa7 o knicknacks we bought)… my sister opens the dabba to stuff her overstuffed bag… wellaa she finds tootee smiling at her. She went crazy… how dare you put a toy in the dabba when we have no place for our stuff … o you brought him all the way min kuwait too?!?!?!
Needless to say tootee was soooo insulted he doesnt address her anymore. Nor asks for her maskeen wayed sho3orah injara7.
To some of you we might seems crazy. Both of us. but some of you will understand what tootee means to them, since they have their own versions of tootee at home

i have my own 2 pets ,,, the first one is BeeBee and his a polar bear that i have since i was 2 monthes old and the other one is DeDe and he is a dog ,,,
the second one is older than me cause my mom bought it for me befor i was born . she was shocked two years ago when i refused to get rid of them ,,, and i made a big scene of it !
