My dear friend the owner of Baked bakery told me she was sending me a special cake to try. Knowing her tendency to think out of the box and come out with different thing I let my imagination run wild with the possibilities. Another chocolate cake? A red velvet cake maybe? At 4:30 PM on the dot the simple no nonsense white box arrived with the “Surprise” cake. That’s Baked’s logo by the way.
I opened it quickly, my curiosity reaching its limit, I nearly ripped the box apart. Hon you must use less Sellotapes on the sides! One Sellotape on one side is more than enough :p
Well, hello there cutie cake! The aroma that hit me, you know a cake would taste good if you can smell it before you eat it and this cake didn’t disappoint. Flavour?
Brown sugar, caramel, cream cheese frosting, and a hint of pineapples! Would it taste good? I am not really a fan of fruit based cakes i always prefer chocolate ones but this one looked too good to miss!
There was something inviting about those caramel ribbons running on the rippling frosting. I resisted the urge to stick my finger on the side and ruin the cake.
At the very top a pineapple ring was resting in a pool of caramel.
Time to cut and check the inside
It was gooooooood! Moist, layers of caramel & frosting all around, brown sugar taste giving it an edge, and the hint of sweet texture that is the pineapples mixed with something else. So good, so different, so unusual.
Now this glorious cake is sad because it has no suitable name 
I have been squeezing my brain cells trying to come up with a suitable name but I couldn’t so I’ve decided to delegate the honour to my readers 😀 Whomever comes up with a great name well suited to this beauty will win a free cake from Baked. You can post as many names as you want, the sky is your limit!

I’d like to call it { The Phantom Of The Opera} the look of the cake reminds me of the masks and costumes they wear.

The look of the cake looks like opera cake, you know the layered cake, and then the white frost with the pineapple on th top reminded me of the mask that they wear at the theatre, so the name is half theatrical and half real cake
the cake is so hawaiian, so i would go with the following names;
– Lanai ( one of the islands in hawaii which is also known as the pineapple island)
– Honolulu
– Aloha
