The New Additions to my Arabian Perfumes Collection from 52 Degrees

I have an incurable addiction to Arabian perfumes and to boxed or packaged sets of anything. Yesterday when I was in 52 Degrees to check out the Ramadan Exhibition I went a bit mad and broke my oat on not buying anymore perfume or bukhoor until I finish half of what I have, which is already too much (post).
I originally wanted to buy a morocco T-Shirt. Then my eyes fell on Al-Marshoud’s travel set and thought to my self that I really need a complete set for work! So I grabbed it, that was the point of no return. Let me show you what I got. It is not alot -thank god-
The first thing I bought was the Dar Al-Marshoud’s travel bag.
It contains A smallish bottle of Marshoosh, a pot of Ma3mool, 1/2 Toola white musk, a tiny mobkhar, a tiny lighter, and a tiny set of tongs for the coals. Not bad. That was a good buy. The bag cost 19 KD.
The second thing I got was a perfume called Hayat from a brand called Suhad by Suhad Al-Qenaei. I loved the scent of Hayat, it was very sharp and strong. Perfect for an abaya or a garment that you want to smell good. One spray of the stuff and the scent will latch on the garments. Cost? 25 KD.
I sampled some more perfumes and liked many, but I had an onset of self control then so we headed to the cash register to pay. As we were paying I noticed a table where many covered boxes that labeled as Ramadan Gift box with different decorations per box.
Intrigued, I asked about the contents of the box and the salesman said its several perfumes by Suhad. They didn’t have a sample since the boxes had just arrived, so I grabbed my self a box and paid for it, the element of surprise making me more curious. The box cost 24 KD.
I chose the box with the old lady as decoration. Ya7leelha mo?
These are the contents of the box.
Three perfumes were inside: S, Classic, and Zio. The one I liked the best was S but I didn’t like the other two.
All in all I had a fun time enriching my perfumes collection. I now declare that I won’t buy anything for the next 10 years or so :p
Oh!!! I LOVE bukhoor and Arabian perfumes!!! 😀
Besides the scent, I also love the packaging and the look of it! Exotic and pretty!!!
From a couple of perfumes I have used, I like Lilas from Al Shaya!
And I miss bukhoor. AND KUWAIT TOO!!!! 😥
You miss bukhoor? You are in India! The land of Bukhoor!!! My favorite bukhoor is Indian and its so hard to come by these days!
Well, I haven’t seen them in the malls.
May be I will have to go hunting in the bazaars.
You should! Where do you think people get oud and bukhoor from! India!
Geez! Honestly, I didn’t know that until I read your post “My Arabian Perfume Collection”! 😀
Now hush! 😈
